Rare later version of the classic Maestro phaser. The PS-1B is the same as a PS-1A but the with addition of a knob to give variable phasing rate.
The PS-1A is still one of our “go to” phasers and had plenty of the the standard PS-1A units through. Produced in the 70s and designed by Tom Oberheim (but although for a US brand they were actually made in Japan), they have a fabulous lush warm sound and three switchable settings.
The variable speed control on this model gives access to a full range of phasing between the Slow and Fast settings (so it effectively overrides the switches).
It’s just been serviced and calibrated.
The condition is very good for its age. It has minor scuffs and wear to the case as you would expect, mostly on the edges. The logo is pretty worn and has been re-glued in place. Please see detailed photos to assess condition for yourself (click the photo to see a larger image).
For sales in UK/EU the price will include VAT. VAT-free sales are possible to businesses and individuals in the EU (outside the UK) with a valid VAT Number – please get in touch if you wish to buy this way.
