Description

LA Audio Classic Compressor CL2 for sale.

Uncommon and something of a well kept secret (shh!) – this superb British FET compressor limiter was designed by Guy Martin to emulate classic designs such as the Urei 1176/1178, dbx 165 and Fairchild(!). That last is possibly something of a marketing stretch, but it does an admirable job of getting very close to the sound of the Urei 1178 and 1176 – our own studio unit is always in use.

Build and sound quality are excellent and there are sidechain inputs on quarter inch jack sockets as well as the expected XLR ins/outs.

Checked and tested by our techs – new input pot fitted – sounding great.

 

Condition

In excellent cosmetic condition with minimal wear to the face. The case has some scratching and rack rash but presents well. Please see photos or get in touch if you require more information on condition.

Switchable voltage for use anywhere in the world - it will be set up ready for you to use before we ship.
