Exceptional cosmetic condition – freshly-serviced and in perfect working order.

It’s just been serviced and recalibrated by a top synth tech. It sounds stunning – these are powerful and flexible synths with great sound-design capabilities. Definitely my favourite Korg of this era.

Korg Mono/Poly MP-4 for sale in superb condition for one of these with almost no marks or signs of age on the face. The ‘wooden’ end cheeks have had some repairs to the corners after damage in transit; these have come up very well and are unnoticeable during normal use. Click on the photos to zoom in and see more detail on cosmetic condition.

Includes the original book of settings charts and Japanese manual.

  • It is a 100v Japanese model and will run fine on North American mains 115/120v without a transformer (we run all our tests using 120v power); however, a step-down transformer is recommended for extended use.
  • A step-down transformer is required in the UK/EU.
  • We do not recommend using cheap generic Chinese mains transformers and can supply a high quality UK-made unit if required.

For sales in UK/EU the price will include VAT. VAT-free sales are possible to businesses and individuals in the EU (outside the UK) with a valid VAT Number – please get in touch if you wish to buy this way.

There are no known faults with this synth – in use, wheels, switches and pots move smoothly and noiselessly. (Please note: it is always possible with vintage equipment that some crackly pots/sliders may develop over time when equipment has not been used – even during shipping – this can usually be easily rectified either by use or with a bit of switch-cleaning spray).

Below are a couple of YouTube clips that demonstrate what these synths can do (with thanks to the uploaders); some effects have been added.
