PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

Ah, we do like a Mono/Poly! One of those synths that always stops you in your tracks when the techs are testing one. Killer example.

Working well – will be serviced before we ship. Shipping estimate is 20 working days from purchase. Supplied with a step-down transformer for 220/240v supplies, or we can install a new internal transformer – see below for information on that and optional MIDI and original Korg case.

Description

Superb Korg MonoPoly MP-4 vintage analogue synthesizer for sale in excellent cosmetic condition and perfect working order.

Various options are available with this synth:

Original case: we have an original Korg case for this in great condition. But we don’t ship in these cases as they do not provide enough protection (especially to the sharp corners of the end panels). We can supply the case and ship it separately – the cost will be £50 + shipping cost, dependent on your location. If you want to discuss this after purchase just let us know.

Internal voltage change: synth is currently 100v and can be run with an external converter (we supply one for UK/European buyers), but we can swap the internal transformer for either 220/240 or 120v supplies. The cost for this work is £80+VAT.

Tubbutec ModyPoly Upgrade option available: this kit can be added for a cost of £250 + VAT. This kit adds various additional play modes, a free definable arpeggiator, midi in/out, a sustain pedal input and various other features. The kit would need to be ordered and would add to time to complete the synth. Read full details and hear demos on the Tubbutec site. To add the kit please message us after purchase.

Note that this kit can be further upgraded with the ModyPoly HiRes Upgrade to add microtonal support – see details and demos here – note that this adds an extra knob to the front panel. This adds an additional £75 to the cost.

Condition

Exceptional for one of these. Minor signs of age only and little wear to the finish on the face. End panels are clean with some wear to the bottom edges. See photos for more information.

Voltage Information

100v Japanese model. For customers on 220/240v supplies we will supply a high quality step-down transformer free of charge with your purchase - let us know if this is not required. On North American mains (115/120v supplies) this unit will run without a transformer (we run all our tests using 120v power); however, a step-down transformer is recommended for extended use. We do not recommend using cheap, generic Chinese mains transformers - please ask if you have any questions about powering this unit.

For sales in UK/EU the price will include 20% VAT. VAT-free sales are possible to businesses and individuals in the EU (outside the UK) with a valid VAT Number - please get in touch if you wish to buy this way.
