Korg Maxi-Korg 800DV

Very uncommon and very, very good – the Korg-800DV is a flexible, analogue duophonic/monophonic synth with a number of interesting features.

Just back from being serviced. Demo of this unit is below.

This synth can be thought of as two minKorgs in one box, but that doesn’t really do it justice as, with the extra features and functionality, the sum is definitely greater than the parts. It can be used in duophonic mode, or with the two analogue oscillators stacked into one monster monophonic sound.

Other tricks up its sleeve include the ability to delay one voice before it triggers, and an inline effect in and out on the rear for each voice that allows you to add things like a delay or phaser and really add another dimension to an already powerful instrument.

Just back from a full service – all pots and sliders cleaned, power supply recapped, keyboard stripped and cleaned, and other minor components replaced as needed to bring it up to excellent working order.

CONDITION: Excellent. Minor signs of age and wear only. Light wear to the wooden end panels.

• 100v Japanese model
• For UK/ EU customers (220/240v supplies) we will supply a high quality step-down transformer free of charge with your purchase – let us know if this is not required.
• On North American mains (115/120v supplies) this unit will run without a transformer (we run all our tests using 120v power); however, a step-down transformer is recommended for extended use – we recommend these.
• We do not recommend using cheap generic Chinese mains transformers – please ask if you have any questions about powering this unit.

Spacious Synth. Korg 800DV has a separate send and return for each oscillator section, so naturally we ran them through a couple of our Space Echoes… all on the site (we have a choice of both 800DV and Space Echo right now).
