Keio (Korg) Mini Pops MP-7

This is definitely the cleanest Keio* Mini Pops MP-7 drum machine we’ve ever seen or had for sale.

The unit is nearly mint – looks like it has barely ever been taken out of a box. The only sign of age is the faint oxidation visible when you look closely at the front panel. The rubber feet, the handle, the buttons, the sliders and everything else looks pretty much untouched.

Tested and in excellent working order.

This iconic and unique-sounding analogue beat box was famously-used by Jean-Michel Jarre on his Oxygene album.They may seem simple but they just have “that sound” and we have a real soft spot for them and always have one in the studio. Standard preset rhythms can be modified by simultaneously pressing combinations of buttons. The “Quijada” sound is instantly-recognisable and unique to the Mini Pops.

• It is a 100v Japanese model and will run fine on North American mains 115/120v without a transformer (we run all our tests using 120v power); however, a step-down transformer is recommended for extended use.
