Serviced by us and in excellent working order. Good cosmetic condition.

The Keio* Mini Pops is an iconic and unique-sounding analogue beat box, famously-used by Jean-Michel Jarre on his Oxygene album. They may seem simple, but they just have “that sound” and we have a real soft spot for them and always have one in the studio. Standard preset rhythms can be modified by simultaneously pressing combinations of buttons. The “Quijada” sound is instantly-recognisable and unique to the Mini Pops.

Service work included replacement of failing capacitors and fitting new power and rhythm selector switches (the two on the right) as they had been previously replaced and we weren’t happy with what was there.

CONDITION: In very good cosmetic condition with oxidation across the face. Two switches are replacements. The case is clean. See photos for more information on cosmetic condition.

*Keio is the forerunner of the mighty Korg empire.

Price includes VAT at 20% (for sales in UK/EU) – buyers outside the EU please contact us for tax-free prices. VAT-free sales possible to businesses and individuals in the EU (outside the UK) with a valid VAT Number.

  • 100v Japanese model – it will run fine on North American mains 115/120v without a transformer (we run all our tests using 120v power); however, a step-down transformer is recommended for extended use.
  • A step-down transformer is required in the UK/EU.
  • We do not recommend using cheap generic Chinese mains transformers and can supply a high quality UK-made unit if required.
