Classic late 60s or early 70s Japanese fuzz. Re-badged Shin-ei FY-2. Serviced and working well.
Snarls and spits like a wildcat! Sounds absolutely monstrous – think Jack White, Black Keys, Radiohead…
Once-cheap, Japanese fuzzes from the 60s/70s have aged well and are now very sought-after.
Condition is excellent with just some minor scratches on the front panel and wear the corners. Click on the photos to zoom in.
Serviced and in good working order – no crackly pots or noisy switch issues.
(Please note: it is always possible with vintage equipment that some crackly pots/sliders may develop over time when equipment has not been used – even during shipping – this can usually be easily rectified either by use or with a bit of switch-cleaning spray)
Fitted with a battery and ready to play.
For sales in UK/EU the price will include VAT. VAT-free sales are possible to businesses and individuals in the EU (outside the UK) with a valid VAT Number – please get in touch if you wish to buy this way.
