Fabulous 70s Japanese Les Paul Copy – a superb quality vintage guitar from the golden era of Japanese guitar making in a beautiful vintage burst finish.
Just had a full set-up and excellent re-fret courtesy of Dean Rowbotham at Bedford guitars. Plays beautifully with good sustain – rings well when strummed acoustically. This guitar presents really well: the finish is gorgeous and it looks absolutely stunning hanging on the wall in our office. The colour is a very fetching mellow gold/orange burst – looks darker in the photos. Everyone here has fallen for it. A great example of an appreciating classic for a fraction of the price of a modern US LP.
The headstock is in very good condition with a couple of small chips to the finish at the very top. Neck feels great following the re-fret and plays very well. The body is in very good condition indeed and looks superb, though there are some long thin scratches on the back. There are two drill holes where the scratch plate was mounted. Some larger chips on the bottom of the body and small cracks in the trim that are barely visible from most angles.
