Superb cosmetic condition and excellent working order. As good an example as you could wish to find of this spectacular distortion and reverb unit.
Every one of these is different and this is a wonderful sounding example. It’s fair for us to describe ourselves as Grampian experts as we are now in the process of building a limited number of our own version of this killer effect.
These are increasingly hard to track down, and often have tricky issues to iron out – we’ve found few techs are able to make these sound as they should. This is a chance to obtain one of these remarkable units with our seal of approval.
Far from a one-trick pony, Grampians are things of wonder for anyone who loves rich harmonic distortion, and they have a myriad of uses in the studio – see our main Grampian pages and previous Grampian blog post for more on these machines. From Lee Scratch Perry to Pete Townshend of the Who, these unprepossessing grey boxes are responsible for a great deal of historic sonic mayhem.
Jack sockets have been switched to conventional quarter inch (the originals are short “B” type sockets – very easy to damage by inserting a regular jack) and the all-important pilot light is functioning as it should.
Commission sale on behalf of a client. If you have gear that you want us to look at selling on your behalf then please look at our Commission & Consignment page for more information and get in touch
In superb cosmetic condition with only minor signs of age to the face including some wear to the right of the power switch. The case is very clean. See photos for more information on cosmetic condition.
220/240v unit. A step-up transformer will be required for use on 110/120v supplies. Please ask if you need advice on what to use. We do not recommend using cheap, generic Chinese mains transformers.
For sales in UK/EU the price will include 20% VAT. If you have an EU VAT number (outside the UK) you can enter it at check out to have VAT removed.
