Description

Responsible for lots of classic effects on classic records; from phasing, through flanging, mono to stereo processing, flanged reverb (e.g. Ultravox), this is an original Eventide Instant Flanger model FL-201, dating from the late 70s.

This era of studio rack gear is definitely an obsession. Just the way these guys were pushing the tech forward into completely unknown territory… See our current stock of vintage Eventide effects here (there may be more on the stock list via the link above as well…).

Please note: it is always possible with vintage equipment that some crackly pots/sliders may develop over time when equipment has not been used – even during a short delivery period – this should clear with use or with a bit of switch-cleaning spray.

Condition

In exceptional cosmetic condition for its age. Light signs of age/use only. Click on the photos to zoom in and see more shots.

Voltage Information

117/120v model. A step-down transformer is required in the UK/EU. We do not recommend using cheap generic Chinese mains transformers and can supply a high quality UK-made unit if required.
