Superb example of this stunning 60s German valve tape echo – serviced and sounding excellent. Uncommon in this condition and very rare to find one that sounds so good – demo below.
You need to get the levels right to get the best out of these machines, but they reward experimentation – they can be noisy compared to later solid state machines, but they have bags of character and ooze class and warmth.
The condition is truly excellent – a few minor scuffs to the case, but the front panel is very clean – unusually all knob caps are present and undamaged. Valves are selected vintage Telefunken/Brimar: 5 x ECC83, 1 x ECC82. Click on the photos to zoom in and see more shots.
There are no known operational faults with this unit.
