A once-in-a-lifetime chance to pick up one of the rarest and highest spec tape echoes ever made (or maybe two? More info below).

Serviced, working well, supplied with spare loops.

Description

THIS LISTING IS FOR ONE MACHINE. You can choose between the one in a rack drawer or the “tabletop” version (they are otherwise identical spec). However, if you want to take the pair a “bulk” discount is possible – get in touch now.

The Denon EM-2000 is an incredibly rare Japanese 1/2″ tape delay with four replay heads. One of has been part of our studio set up for many years but we’ve decided to let it go.

Serviced and extensively tested by us. Extremely uncommon (manufactured when everyone else was abandoning BBD for digital) four replay head machines built to an astonishing specification. Clean clear sound unlike anything else out there. That’s not tape hiss, it’s the sound of Tony quietly crying at the prospect saying goodbye.

Supplied with spare loops.

Note that these are 100v machines. We are investigating whether it is possible to change the voltage internally however if this is not possible we can supply or recommend a good voltage converter.
