The original chorus pedal: the CE-1 dates from the mid to late 70s. Complete with the original box. Serviced and working very well. These pedals are great - not just the chorus but the way they overdrive as well...

Boss CE-1 vintage effect pedal for sale in full working order.
Mono in, stereo out.
A stone cold classic effect: guitar, keys, synths, bass, mix – this is a great-sounding vintage chorus.
In very good condition with minor scuffs and dings across the case. The face is clean with scratches and other signs of wear. See photos for more information on cosmetic condition.
For sales in UK/EU the price will include 20% VAT. VAT-free sales are possible to businesses and individuals in the EU (outside the UK) with a valid VAT Number - please get in touch if you wish to buy this way.
100v Japanese model - it will run on North American mains 115/120v without a transformer (we run all our tests using 120v power); however, a step-down transformer is recommended for extended use. A step-down transformer is required in the UK/EU. We do not recommend using cheap generic Chinese mains transformers and can supply a high quality UK-made unit if required.

Syncussion. Bass. Distortion. Gid loves all of these things. So yes, it’s supposed to sound like that 😬. Headphones capture the full texture here (with apologies for mono output - old iPhone issues). . Bass sound and saw tooth distortion are courtesy of the Psyco X Syncussion overloading the Roland mixer, and then also the RE-200 on the effect send. All of those things are serviced, available and can be yours. Rhythm Fever is sold tho. (CE-1 is splitting the drum machine output and adding stereo weirdness before it triggers the Syncussion.)

Which is your favourite analogue echo? This fab twosome play nicely together: fuzz bass into the Roland RE-201 Space Echo (note the pinned meter) and guitar into classic Boss CE-1 Chorus Ensemble (first pedal produced by Roland offshoot, Boss) and Sound City Echomaster (solid state Binson Echorec).

Loving the Polivoks. Has a sound like nothing else. It’s no Minimoog where almost every sound you get is superb, but find the sweet spots on the controls and it has some special nasty magic in there. This one is serviced and for sale now - full details ➡️➡️ soundgas.com It needs some effects to bring out the best of its character. Here Gid is driving it hard through a Boss CE-1, and then doubling down on the analogue distortion by overdriving two old BBD boxes (Guyatone AE-5 & Elk EM-7) with the split signal from the Boss. All gear is available now except the Elk. #polivoks #synthesizer #vintagesynth #electronicmusic #techno #beats #imakebeats

"Soundgas offer a great service, sourcing esoteric gear that works great."
