Quality British-made spring reverb. We're big fans of these - both the spring sound and the way the preamps take being overloaded.
Quality British-made spring reverb. We’re big fans of these – both the spring sound and the way the preamps take being overloaded.
Includes Stereo Reverberation Controller, remote reverb tank unit, UK 240v power supply, plus connection leads.
NOTE: This unit is working well but awaiting a check over by our techs and will ship within one week of purchase.
Demo below. Also features in Tony’s “Lords of the Springs” article in Premier Guitar Magazine.
This Accessit Spring Reverb is for sale serviced and working well. Supplied with both connection leads – 5 pin DIN from power to controller and controller to reverb – not pictured.
This is a great vintage spring reverb with a stunning sound which also reacts very well to abuse – gets thick and crunchy when you overdrive the input. Mono in and stereo out with a useful sweepable-frequency cut/boost EQ.
Made by Turnkey who also made the Bandive Great British Spring – this unit is a somewhat more practical size! Dating from the late 70s or early 80s it consists of a controller connected to a separate unit containing the springs – useful in order to isolate the springs from vibrations and interference.
240v power supply will also power three other Bandive units.
Demo below of a previous unit (also features the Hawk HR-202 – we have one of these available right now as well).
Excellent cosmetic condition. Minor signs of use/age only. See photos for more information on cosmetic condition.
For sales in UK/EU, this item is on the margin scheme for second hand goods. VAT-free sales are not possible for this item.
220/240v unit. A step-up transformer will be required for use on 110/120v supplies. Please ask if you need advice on what to use. We do not recommend using cheap, generic Chinese mains transformers.

Springvestigations... Hawk HR-202 vs Bandive Accessit unit. Both available now - get in touch if they are showing as sold on the site. Percussion test - you hear the Hawk first. Note that both units are stereo out, but here you are hearing the left and right from each as one mono signal. In stereo both sound richer, especially the Accessit, and the Hawk has a phase reverse option that you obviously can’t hear in mono. Conclusions? The Accessit is maybe a better spring effect and you have more control with the Gain and Frequency controls; but... the Hawk doesn’t sound bad either, and it has a secret weapon (not deployed here) in the form of the rich, heavy, harmonic distortion you can get out of it if you plug into the mic input. So yes - you do need both 😁. (If you want to hear that distortion then head to the Hawk listing on our site.)
“Imagine the perfect eBay.... with everything you never knew you wanted… and you can rest assured that your vintage and rare wobbly sound device will turn up on time and in one piece and possibly in even better condition that when it left the workshop. Soundgas - literally amazing."

“I have bought two Moog synths from Soundgas over the past year, and I cannot say enough wonderful things about their selection of vintage products, the level of service, diligent responses to email, and expedient shipping with copious protective packaging. “If you are a vintage audio gear head then this is the place you have been looking for all your life. Pretty much any piece of classic or obscure kit that you are after is available here... But the clincher for me is that the gear they sell has been restored by their top techs (unless otherwise noted) which is really very important when dealing with, for example, synths from 30 years ago.”
