Quality British-made spring reverb. We're big fans of these - both the spring sound and the way the preamps take being overloaded.
Quality British-made spring reverb. We’re big fans of these – both the spring sound and the way the preamps take being overloaded.
Includes Stereo Reverberation Controller, remote reverb tank unit, UK 240v power supply, plus connection leads.
NOTE: This unit is working well but awaiting a check over by our techs and will ship within one week of purchase.
Demo below. Also features in Tony’s “Lords of the Springs” article in Premier Guitar Magazine.
This Accessit Spring Reverb is for sale serviced and working well. Supplied with both connection leads – 5 pin DIN from power to controller and controller to reverb – not pictured.
This is a great vintage spring reverb with a stunning sound which also reacts very well to abuse – gets thick and crunchy when you overdrive the input. Mono in and stereo out with a useful sweepable-frequency cut/boost EQ.
Made by Turnkey who also made the Bandive Great British Spring – this unit is a somewhat more practical size! Dating from the late 70s or early 80s it consists of a controller connected to a separate unit containing the springs – useful in order to isolate the springs from vibrations and interference.
240v power supply will also power three other Bandive units.
Demo below of a previous unit (also features the Hawk HR-202 – we have one of these available right now as well).
Excellent cosmetic condition. Minor signs of use/age only. See photos for more information on cosmetic condition.
220/240v unit. A step-up transformer will be required for use on 110/120v supplies. Please ask if you need advice on what to use. We do not recommend using cheap, generic Chinese mains transformers.
For sales in UK/EU, this item is on the margin scheme for second hand goods. VAT-free sales are not possible for this item.
My first piece for Premier Guitar on the subject of vintage spring reverbs, with particular emphasis on less-common units: definitely firmly in Soundgas territory.
