Superb Ampeg B15-NF Portaflex valve amp in very good cosmetic condition and excellent working order. This is the classic bass amp as heard on many recordings from Motown onwards. Dates from c1964. Overhauled by Ampeg specialist (and ex-vice president) Jess Oliver in 2002 (sticker inside speaker cab – his signature was on the rear of the amp, but unfortunately was cleaned off by one of our over-zealous elves).
CONDITION: Excellent with few signs of wear showing across the amp. The head is very clean with some hairline scratches scattered across the face. The transformers had scuffs showing along the top edges, these have now been re-painted and present very well. The vinyl covering is clean with some sections showing the usual scuffs expected from an amp this age. See photos for more information on cosmetic condition.
