1960 Vox AC-15

Stunning-sounding player’s amp. This amp is an original c1960 Vox AC-15 black panel chassis housed in a new fawn 1 x 12 cab by JMI.  Get that fabulous early Vox sound in a more rugged modern case. These amps have great break up when pushed – the vibrato/tremolo is stunning. A great recording amp with the sound you’ve heard on countless records.

Serviced by our experienced amp engineer and in excellent working order, sounding superb and ready to roll.

1960 chassis in very good original condition, internal parts/transformers all look to be original. Case is a modern reproduction by JMI and is in excellent order with minor marks, mostly to the grille cloth. The speaker is a HiWatt (Fane?). We can fit an alternate 12″ speaker for an additional cost if required – have several vintage options here, including Celestion Greenbacks.
